On any given day, there are an estimated 11,522 adult and child sex trafficking victims in New Mexico. Some of these victims — about 1,414 — are forced by traffickers to sell themselves at casinos, truck stops, massage parlors and online, while most — 10,108 — are homeless teens that engage in commercial sex in order to survive.
